Chamber Music in the William Morris Room

Yesterday, Charleville Castle hosted the Tullamore Gramophone Society's presentation of Sarah Sew, RIAM Professor of Violin and Head of Chamber Music, along with her students. The event was generously supported by The Trench Trust (C.P.M. Trench Will Trust).

For the first time in at least a century, the William Morris Room served as the backdrop for an exhilarating chamber music performance.

This intimate concert left the audience in awe, as the accomplished musicians enjoyed playing as much as the audience enjoyed listening.

Below is an interview with Sarah Sew on Midlands 103, starting around the 26-minute mark. Sarah speaks enthusiastically about both the music, her students and how the Charleville Castle is a perfect venue for such concerts.
